Abstract:

The present disclosure relates to the field of smart homes. Disclosed are a prompt information sending method and device. The prompt information sending method comprises: receiving the opening and closing states of a door and a window corresponding to a door and window sensor; obtaining the operation state of an air purifier bound to the door and window sensor when the door and the window corresponding to the door and window sensor are in the open state; detecting whether the operation state of the air purifier is in the ON state; and sending prompt information in a preset manner when it is detected that the operation state of the air purifier is in the ON state, wherein the prompt information is used for instructing to close the door and the window of the room where the air purifier is located or to turn off the air purifier. It is set on the network side that the prompt information is sent when it is determined that the air purifier is in the operation state and the door and the window of the room where the air purifier is located are open, so that the problem of low purification efficiency of the air purifier caused by the opening of the door and the window is solved, and the purification efficiency of the air purifier can be guaranteed.
