Abstract:
The prevent invention provides a protection circuit of an air conditioning controller and a control method thereof. The protection circuit of the air conditioning controller comprises: a thermistor, a relay, a rectifier module, a voltage sampling module, and an MCU. A first input end of the rectifier module is connected to a live end of grid power. A second input end thereof is connected to a neutral end of grid power, and a positive electrode of the output end of the rectifier module is connected to the MCU by means of the voltage sampling module. The thermistor is connected in series between the first input end of the rectifier module and the live end of grid power. The relay is connected in parallel at two ends of the thermistor. The MCU is configured to detect a DC bus voltage of a positive electrode at the output end of the rectifier module, and to turn the relay on and off according to the DC bus voltage. The protection circuit of the present invention turns off the relay in a timely manner if it is found that a power supply is at over voltage or under voltage. The internal resistance of the thermistor increases as the temperature of the thermistor increases, thereby preventing sudden changes to a current or a voltage and achieving the goal of protecting a rear load. The invention improves the service life of an air conditioner and the reliability of electronic control.
