Abstract:
Disclosed is a protection element with a grid (6) disposed inside an insulation tube (2), comprising: an insulation tube (2), and melts (5-1, 5-2) located in the insulation tube (2). Grids (6) are additionally arranged in the middle of the insulation tube (2) to divide the inside of the insulation tube (2) into several independent reception chambers, each of which is provided with a melt (5-1, 5-2) to perform shunting through more than two melts (5-1, 5-2) during breaking; and each melt (5-1, 5-2) is responsible for part of the breaking current, thereby improving the breaking capacity by means of reducing the breaking current. An arc extinguishing material (4) wraps the melts (5-1, 5-2) respectively to maximumly improve the arc extinguishing effect of the arc extinguishing material (4).
