Abstract:
Provided is a protection plug for transportation which is provided attachably/detachably in a through-hole provided in a case and will not be unplugged due to internal pressure generated in a space section inside the case. A protection plug 17 for transportation is mounted in a female threaded hole 13a of a union hole 13 provided in a wheel cylinder 4 (case). The protection plug 17 for transportation integrally comprises: a cylinder section 17a formed slightly smaller in diameter than the inner diameter of the female threaded hole 13a; a flange section 17b that is provided on the upper portion of the cylinder section 17a and is formed larger in diameter than the inner diameter of the female threaded hole 13a; and a large flange section 17c that is provided so as to be continuous with the upper portion of the flange section 17b and is formed larger in diameter than the flange section 17b. The protection plug has a communication groove 18 extending from the cylinder section 17a to the flange section 17b. The communication groove 18 has: a first groove section 18a that is provided in the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder section 17a and extends in the axial direction of the cylinder section 17a; and a second groove section 18b that is provided in the cylinder section-side surface of the flange section 17b so as to be continuous with the first groove section 18a and extends in a direction perpendicular to the first groove section 18a.
