Abstract:
Provided is a protective casing for a screen, said casing being easily attached to a portable information device, and ensuring clip-on strength while satisfactorily maintaining the operability of on-screen touch operations. The protective casing according to the present invention is attached to the front side of a portable information device, and is provided with a thin-walled section that covers the screen of the portable information device, and a pair of thick-walled sections that are provided at the top side and bottom side of the thin-walled section and have a thickness that is greater than that of the thin-walled section, wherein the thin-walled section is provided with a screen covering section that covers the screen, and thin-walled clip-on sections that extend to the sides of the portable information device from the screen covering section and clip onto the sides, and each thick-walled section is provided with thick-walled clip-on sections that are provided so as to be connected to the thin-walled clip-on section, and clip onto the sides.
