Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a protective cover for an axle spring which can cover an axle spring for a railway vehicle in a compact manner and which is unlikely deformed, is unlikely damaged, and unlikely falls off due to wind pressure. [Solution] A protective cover 1 which is attached to an axle spring 20 for a railway vehicle and which covers a lower-side outer surface of an elastic portion 23 in the attached state is uniformly formed into a tubular shape from a thin film material having elasticity and includes a bellows portion 4 that can be axially expanded and contracted. In the attached state, the protective cover 1 indirectly abuts against an inner cylinder 21 via a rubber layer 27A, directly abuts against an outer cylinder 22, and directly abuts against the elastic portion 23 at a position radially spaced apart from the abutment positions against the inner cylinder 21 and the outer cylinder 22.
