Abstract:
The invention concerns a protective cover for a blood-sample needle. Surrounding the needle (12) is an outer sheath (14) which is joined across a predetermined break point (16) to a collar (18) which carries the needle (12). Inside the outer sheath (14), at least in the region of the point (24) of the needle, is an inner sheath (28) surrounding the needle (12). The inner sheath (28) and the outer sheath (14) are manufactured by two-component injection moulding. The inner sheath (28) is secured to the outer sheath (14) by form-locking and/or force-locking connections so that it cannot be displaced along the needle (12).
