Abstract:
This protective element has: a fuse element (50); an insulating case (260); an insulating member (60) which has a first terminal and a second terminal, is disposed in a state of being adjacent to or in contact with the fuse element (50), and has an opening section or a separation section formed therein; a shielding member (220) capable of moving downward so as to divide the fuse element (50); a pressing means which presses the shielding member (220) downward; and a locking member which suppresses the shielding member (220) from moving downward, wherein the shielding member (220) has a protruding section (220a) protruding toward the fuse element (50), the protruding section (220a) has a tip (220aa) which is disposed on a lower end section of the protruding section (220a) and extends in the width direction thereof, the tip (220aa) has a first inclined blade 221 extending downward toward one side in the width direction, and the first inclined blade 221 overlaps a region exceeding at least a half of the entire length of the fuse element (50) in the width direction when viewed in the vertical direction.
