Abstract:
The present invention relates to a protective patch ribbon for a thermal transfer printer, the ribbon using a conventional retransfer printer without having a separate laminator so that images or desired information can be directly recorded on a patch shape provision body, effectively preventing physical damage to records transferred to a recording material, and preventing forgery and alteration of the records transferred to the recording material. The present invention comprises: a laminate including a transport film that is repeatedly wound and unwound and a bonding layer positioned on one surface of the transport film; and a structure having a patch film substrate and a primer layer that are sequentially stacked on the bonding layer, wherein the structure includes: a patch shape provision body including a perforated area; and an aqueous layer positioned on the patch shape provision body, wherein the shape of a patch transferred to the recording material is defined by the perforated area.
