Abstract:

A protruding case for a mail which is fixed between a first sheet portion forming a part of the mail and a second sheet portion having a window-like cut-out portion, superposed on the first sheet portion and closed as the mail. The protruding case protrudes from the cut-out portion and includes a cup (2, 62 or 72) having a space (6, 66 or 76) therein and a flange portion (2a, 62a or 72a) therearound, a cover (3, 63 or 73) for closing the inner space (6, 66 or 76) of the cup, and at least one engaging means (4 or 74) for closing the cup (2, 62 or 72) with the cover (3, 63 or 73), or bonding means, wherein the flange portion (2a, 62a or 72a) of the cup and the cover (3, 63 or 73) are clamped between the first and second sheet portions and the cup protrudes from the cut-out portion of the mail. Another protruding case for a mail of this invention includes a disc-like inner space (96) for storing a disc-like article having a through-hole of a predetermined size at the center and having a predetermined thickness, a disc-like cup (92) having a flange portion (92a) therearound, and a cylindrical protruding portion (94) having a diameter such that when it is fitted into the through-hole of the disc-like matter having a predetermined size, the cylindrical protruding portion (94) does not easily come off, having a height greater than the predetermined thickness of the disc-like article, and protruding into the inner space (96) of the disc-like cup (92) at the center of the disc-like cup (92).
