Abstract:
When communication means for performing a radio communication with a client by use of a predetermined protocol is used to provide the client with a function serving as an access point for accessing a network, the communication means is used to transmit a predetermined broadcasting packet and receive a response packet including identification information of the client responsive to the predetermined broadcasting packet, thereby detecting the client within a communicatable range (Steps 31-33). The communication means is then used to transmit, to the detected client, connection information required for establishing a connection to the network (Steps 35-37).
