Abstract:

A housing (11) of this proximity alarm device accommodates a microcomputer (32), a speaker (20), an electric board (30) and a board temperature sensor (36) that are comprised by the proximity alarm device. The board temperature sensor, which is mounted on a sensor mounting surface of the electric board, outputs board temperature information indicating a detected board temperature to the microcomputer. An arithmetic unit (32d) of the microcomputer arithmetically estimates a speaker temperature on the basis of the board temperature information, and a correction unit (32e) corrects an approximate alarm sound on the basis of the arithmetically-estimated speaker temperature.
