A public transportation smart monitoring cloud service platform, comprising an open source cloud-based Hengdian public transportation smart monitoring cloud service platform, an Eclipse-based terminal-universal middleware and a smart monitoring cloud terminal; the smart monitoring cloud terminal comprises an information system platform installed on a vehicle, and a built-in computer system device on the vehicle; key nodes for a service are a vehicle-carried terminal and a cloud service computing and processing platform, the vehicle-carried terminal comprises a sensor, a data capture device, and a wireless sending module; the cloud service computing and processing platform comprises a Henghua distributed database system and a Henghua big data platform serving as cloud infrastructure; during operation of the vehicle, generated vehicle data is continuously sent back to a backend database, producing massive amounts of data, a cloud computing platform implements filtering on the massive amounts of data, and a data analysis platform performs report-type processing on the data. The present invention is simple and convenient to operate, can increase driving safety, and saves time for the driver.
