Abstract:
An aqueous anthraquinone dispersion utilizable as a pulp digestion aid is produced by dispersing an anthraquinone in water in the presence of a rosin treated with a polyvalent metal to improve the dispersibility of the anthraquinone and also in the presence of a water-soluble surfactant or polymer.
