Title:
PULSE-PATTERN GENERATING CONFIGURATION FOR THREE-PHASE CURRENT TYPE POWER CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/037011
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a pulse-pattern generating configuration for a three-phase current type power converter, wherein switching loss can be minimized regardless of whether the power factor is high or low, and power conversion efficiency can thereby be improved. When a phase (U phase) not having the maximum line voltage matches a phase (U phase) having the maximum line current command value, a separating time (T1) is provided so that switching pulses for two phases (V phase and W phase) that are not the phase having the maximum line current command value are separated temporally, and a short-circuiting pulse (SP) is arranged for the phase (U phase) having the maximum line current command value, within one modulation cycle (T). Meanwhile, when a phase (V phase or W phase) not having the maximum line voltage does not match the phase (U phase) having the maximum line current command value, switching pulses for the two phases (V phase and W phase) that are not the phase having the maximum line current command value are provided temporally adjacent to each other, and a short-circuiting pulse (SP) is arranged for the phase (V phase or W phase) not having the maximum line voltage, or for the phase (U phase) having the maximum line current command value, within one modulation cycle (T).
