Abstract:
This pulse wave sensor has a strain generating element and a strain gauge that is provided on the strain generating element and that uses a Cr multiphase film as a resistance element. The strain generating element has a frame part, a beam part bridging the inner side of the frame part, and a connection part that connects the inner side of the frame part and the outer side of the beam part with no gap therebetween in a plan view. The connection part is thinner than the frame part and the beam part and detects a pulse wave on the basis of a change in the resistance value of the resistance element associated with deformation of the beam part.
