The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pulverizer that can reliably pulverize material to be pulverized such as a food product or pharmaceutical. A pulverizer is provided with: a casing having a first opening in the center of the upper part; a pulverizing member, which has two parallel disks above and below, a plurality of blade plates disposed at peripheral edge parts between both disks, and a second opening formed in the center part of the upper side disk, and is disposed within the casing such that the second opening is concentric with the first opening; a discharge cylinder disposed above the casing, connected to a suction device, and communicating with the inside of the casing via the first opening; and a supply pipe passing through the discharge cylinder, extending inside the casing from the first opening, and having a tip inserted in the inside of the pulverizing member from the second opening. Material to be pulverized is supplied to the inside of the pulverizing member, which is driven rotatably, from the supply pipe and is fed toward the peripheral side of the pulverizing member while being pulverized by the blade plates. Pulverized material that has been pulverized is discharged from the first opening in the casing via the discharge cylinder by the operation of the suction device.
