Abstract:
This ultrapure water production device 1 is configured from three stages of devices, namely a pretreatment device 2, a primary water purifying device 3 for pure water production, and a subsystem 4, wherein raw water W is treated to produce ultrapure water W3. The primary water purifying device 3 comprises a tank 5 of pretreated water W1, a pump 6, a reverse osmosis membrane separation device 7, and an electric deionizing device 8, with the electric deionizing device 8 at the end. The subsystem 4 comprises a sub tank 31, a UV ray oxidizing device 32 which treats primary pure water W2 fed from the sub tank 31, a platinum group metal catalyst resin tower 33, a film-type deaerator device 34, a non-regenerative, mixed bed-type ion exchange device 35, and an ultrafiltration membrane 36 as a membrane filtration device. This ultrapure water production device enables always keeping the silica concentration low.
