Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to suppress variation in the elution position of a compound due to the influence of a preservation solution in purification of a compound that has a charged portion without performing a step wherein the preservation solution adhered to an adsorbent, which is used for the purification, is replaced and left at rest. [Solution] A purification method for purifying a compound that has a charged portion, comprising: a step for preparing a composition that contains a compound having a charged portion; a step for preparing a buffering agent solution that contains an alcohol and a buffering agent which at least partially contains a calcium phosphate compound and exhibits buffering ability within a pH range of from 6.0 to 8.0, while being soluble in a polar solvent and insoluble in a nonpolar solvent; a storing step wherein the adsorbent is stored in the buffering agent solution; an adsorption step wherein the composition is brought into contact with the adsorbent, which is stored in the buffering agent solution, thereby having the compound adsorbed on the adsorbent; and a fractionation step wherein the compound is fractionated from the adsorbent by means of gradient elution.
