The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fundamental solution for eliminating eutrophication of lakes, etc., purifying riverine systems in which the water quality is degraded due to proliferation of microalgae such as blue-green algae, and continuously controlling the proliferation of microalgae. A purification system according to the present invention is a system for purifying a riverine system in which the water quality is degraded due to proliferation of microalgae, the system comprising a water-flow generation means and an algal-flocculation-decomposition means that introduces a bacillus ferment or comprising a water-flow generation means and an algal-secondary-decomposition means for introducing photosynthetic bacteria that take up hydrogen sulfide.
