Abstract:
In this push rivet, a grommet is configured from at least a flange section, a coupling leg section, a split leg section, and a swelling section. A pin is configured from at least a head section, a shaft section, and a concave groove that is formed on the side of the shaft section and that expands the coupling leg section and the split leg section by means of engaging the swelling section. A contact means (e.g. a protruding section) for generating clearance between the facing surfaces of the flange section of the grommet and the head section of the pin while in a main fastened state is provided between the grommet and the pin.
