Abstract:
The present invention relates to a PWM control device of three-phase three-level power conversion device, and comprises a carrier signal generation module which detects first and second DC input voltages (VC1, VC2) when DC voltages which are different with respect to a neutral point are applied to the first and second DC input voltages, and generates and provides first and second carrier signals (VCarr1 and VCarr2) such that at least one of a duty cycle, a frequency, and a phase is different according to the magnitudes of the first and second DC input voltages; a comparison module which forms a first comparison group, a second comparison group, and the third comparison group, using the plurality of comparators, inputs a first reference signal (VuRef), a second reference signal (VvRef), and a third reference signal (VwRef) having a difference from the first and second carrier signals by a predetermined phase value into inverting terminals of the first comparison group, the second comparison group, and the third comparison group, respectively, and when the plurality of carrier signals are input into the non-inverting terminals of the first comparison group, the second comparison group, and the third comparison group, the reference signal (VX-Ref) of the inverting terminal is compared with the carrier signal of the non-inverting terminal and providing an output signal with respect to a high/low state; a gate signal generation module in which a first output line and a second output line are connected to an output-end of the comparison module, the first output line applies an output signal of the comparison module to a power switching element as a first gate signal, and the second output line applies a second gate signal having a complementary relationship to the first gate signal to the power switching element. Accordingly, the present invention can perform maximum power operation and charge/discharge functions while outputting an AC output voltage of high power quality by directly using a different DC input voltage of a three-phase three-level inverter without any additional features such as a DC power conversion device, reduce the size of an output filter by reducing the harmonic components of the voltage current output from the three-phase three-level inverter, and improve the PWM control performance, reliability, and lifetime as the linearity of the three-phase three-level inverter increases.
