Title:
PYROELECTRIC ELEMENT, INFRARED RAY DETECTOR, AND GAS ANALYZER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/157592
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a pyroelectric element in which the infrared light detection sensitivity has been improved by making thermal conduction from light-receiving electrodes to compensating electrodes difficult. Also provided are an infrared ray detector and a gas analyzer. The pyroelectric element comprises: a plate-like pyroelectric body; a plurality of light-receiving electrodes that are provided to one surface of the pyroelectric body and used for receiving infrared light; and a plurality of compensating electrodes that are provided to said one surface, the number of the plurality of compensating electrodes being the same as the number of the plurality of light-receiving electrodes. Each of the plurality of light-receiving electrodes forms a pair with one of the plurality of compensating electrodes. The light-receiving electrode and the compensating electrode included in each pair are adjacent to each other, and a slit that runs through the pyroelectric body is provided between the light-receiving electrode and the compensating electrode included in each pair, the position of said slit including the center position between the light-receiving electrode and the compensating electrode included in each pair.
