Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing an organic substance and an apparatus for producing an organic substance, said method and apparatus being capable of efficiently cooling a synthesis gas and converting the synthesis gas into an organic substance with high conversion efficiency by utilizing a microbial catalyst. A pyrolysis gas purification/cooling device equipped with a gasifier 10 for gasifying waste and generating a pyrolysis gas, a cyclone 11 for allowing passage of the pyrolysis gas discharged from the gasifier 10 therethrough to thereby recover the dust fraction in the pyrolysis gas, and a heat exchanger 20 for allowing passage of the pyrolysis gas that has passed through the cyclone 11 therethrough to cool the pyrolysis gas.
