Abstract:
Provided are a quality improving agent for brown rice and a quality improving method for brown rice whereby high quality brown rice can be produced. The quality improving agent for brown rice according to the present invention contains zerumbone as an active ingredient. The quality improving method for brown rice according to the present invention comprises a step for applying zerumbone to rice during the cultivation period.
