Title:
QUANTUM ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY SYSTEM AND QUANTUM ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPY METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2024/018994
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A rotating stage (105) scans the wavelength of quantum entangled photon pairs by changing a crystal rotation angle θ. A moving mirror (110) and a drive device (111) sweep the optical path length difference between signal photons and idler photons. While in a state in which a target sample is arranged on the optical path of the idler photons, a photodetector (81) outputs a signal corresponding to the detected number of signal photons. Each time that the wavelength is changed sequentially by changing the crystal rotation angle (θ), a processor (91) acquires a quantum interference signal under conditions in which the sweeping range of the optical path length difference is limited compared to cases in which the optical path length difference is swept so as to obtain the entire envelope of the quantum interference signal or under conditions in which the optical path length difference is fixed, calculates the amplitude of an interference fringe appearing in the acquired quantum interference signal, and uses the calculated amplitude of the interference fringe as a basis to calculate the absorption spectrum characteristics in an idler photon wavelength corresponding to the crystal rotation angle (θ).
