Abstract:
A quantum dot liquid crystal panel (200) and a manufacturing method therefor; the quantum dot liquid crystal panel (200) comprises a liquid crystal box formed by an upper glass substrate (201) and lower glass substrate (205) sealing liquid crystal molecules (207), wherein a quantum dot color filter layer (206) and an upper polarizer (208) are disposed in sequence on a surface of the upper glass substrate (201) that faces the interior of the box; the quantum dot color filter layer (206) and the upper polarizer (208) are sealingly bonded by means of a sealant, and a red quantum dot material (202), a green quantum dot material (203) and a particle diffusion transparent material (204) are disposed at intervals on a surface of the quantum dot color filter layer (206); a lower polarizer (209) is disposed on a surface of the lower glass substrate (205) that faces the interior of the box. A lower gate polarization functional layer on the lower glass substrate (205) is fabricated by using exposure etching or nanoimprint technology. Compared to the existing technology, the quantum dot liquid crystal panel (200) fully uses an amorphous silicon material coating for manufacturing thin film transistor (TFT) elements, thus simplifying the fabrication process, saving materials, reducing costs, enabling panels to be thinner and lighter, and preventing problems with the liquid crystal panel (200) such as warping, light leakage in a dark state, and so on.
