Provided is a quantum dot solar cell comprising: a transparent substrate; an electron transport layer formed on the transparent substrate; a photoactive layer formed on the electron transport layer; a hole transport layer formed on the photoactive layer; and an electrode formed on the hole transport layer, wherein the electron transport layer comprises quantum dots which selectively block high energy photons, and the photoactive layer comprises organic matter.
