We claim: 1. A connector for a straight edge comprising: a straight edge having first and second sections to be connected, each of said sections having a first end and a second end; a body member configured to be mounted to said first section at said first end, said body member partially extending from said first end and configured for insertion into said second end of said second section; a handle connected to said body for movement with respect to said body; a locking member mounted for movement with respect to said body member between a locked and unlocked position; a link connecting said handle to said locking member, said handle moving said locking member between said locked and unlocked positions; said handle moving said locking member to engage said second section when in said locked position locking said first and second sections together, said handle moving said locking member to disengage said second section when in said unlocked position unlocking said first and second sections. 2. The connector of claim 1, wherein said body member includes a base and sides, with said locking member sliding within said sides. 3. The connector of claim 2, wherein said locking member is retained within said body member for sliding movement and rocking movement. 4. The connector of claim 1, wherein said body member and locking member are interconnected with slots and pins. 5. The connector of claim 4, wherein said body member includes first and second slots and said locking member includes first and second bores configured to receive first and second pins. 6. The connector of claim 5, wherein said first slot is straight and said second slot is offset to allow said locking member to slide and pivot with respect to said body member. 7. The connector of claim 6, wherein said locking member includes a first engagement member configured to engage said section and lock said locking member with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 8. The connector of claim 7, wherein said second section includes a second engagement member, said first engagement member engaging said second engagement member to lock said first and second sections together. 9. The connector of claim 8, wherein said locking member slides and pivots with respect to said body member and said second section to engage said first engagement member with said second engagement section to lock said sections together. 10. The connector of claim 1, wherein said locking member includes a driving wedge and at least one adjacent driven wedge, said driving wedge is configured to drive said driven wedge into said second section to lock said first section to said second section. 11. The connector of claim 10, wherein said driving wedge includes a catch for interconnecting said link with said driving wedge. 12. The connector of claim 10 wherein said body member includes at least one slot for receipt of said driven wedge. 13. The connector of claim 12, wherein said second section includes a wall adjacent said at least one slot, said driven wedge being configured to engage said wall. 14. The connector of claim 1, wherein said locking member includes a head portion with a finger, said link engaging said finger to interconnect said handle and said locking member. 15. The connector of claim 1, wherein said locking member includes a protrusion configured to engage said section and lock said locking with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 16. The connector of claim 1, wherein said handle is configured to pivot with respect to said body member to move said locking member between said locked and unlocked positions. 17. The connector of claim 1, wherein said straight edge includes a plurality of pairs of sections and a plurality of connectors to connect pairs of sections together. 18. A quick connect configured to connect first and second sections together comprising: a main body, a locking member configured to move with respect to said main body between locked and unlocked positions; said locking member configured to engage the sections when locked and disengage from said section to unlock said sections. 19. The connector of claim 18, wherein said locking member is retained within said body member for sliding movement and rocking movement. 20. The connector of claim 18, wherein said body member and locking member are interconnected with slots and pins. 21. The connector of claim 18, wherein said body member includes first and second slots and said locking member includes first and second bores configured to receive first and second pins. 22. The connector of claim 21, wherein said first slot is straight and said second slot is offset to allow said locking member to slide and pivot with respect to said body member. 23. The connector of claim 22, wherein said locking member includes a first engagement member configured to engage said section and lock said locking member with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 24. The connector of claim 23, wherein said second section includes a second engagement member, said first engagement member engaging said second engagement member to lock said first and second sections together. 25. The connector of claim 24, wherein said locking member slides and pivots with respect to said body member and said second section to engage said first engagement member with said second engagement section to lock said sections together. 26. The connector of claim 18, wherein said locking member includes a driving wedge and at least one adjacent driven wedge, said driving wedge is configured to drive said driven wedge into said second section to lock said first section to said second section. 27. The connector of claim 26, further including a locking handle and a link, said driving wedge includes a catch for interconnecting said link and locking handle to said driving wedge. 28. The connector of claim 10 wherein said body member includes at least one slot for receipt of said driven wedge. 29. The connector of claim 28, wherein said second section includes a wall adjacent said at least one slot, said driven wedge being configured to engage said wall. 30. The connector of claim 18, wherein said locking member includes a head portion with a finger, said link engaging said finger to interconnect said handle and said locking member. 31. The connector of claim 18, wherein said locking member includes a protrusion configured to engage said section and lock said locking member with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 32. The connector of claim 18, further including a handle configured to pivot with respect to said body member to move said locking member between said locked and unlocked positions. 33. The connector of claim 18, further including a plurality of pairs of sections and a plurality of connectors to connect pairs of sections together. 34. A connector for a straight edge clamp comprising: a straight edge clamp having clamps for attaching said straight edge clamp to a worksurface, said straight edge clamp having first and second sections to be connected, each of said sections having a first end and a second end; a body member configured to be mounted to said first section at said first end, said body partially extending from said first end and configured for insertion into said second end of said second section; a handle connected to said body for movement with respect to said body; a locking member mounted for movement with respect to said body member between a locked and unlocked position; a link connecting said handle to said locking member, said handle moving said locking member between said locked and unlocked positions; said handle moving said locking member to engage said second section when in said locked position locking said first and second sections together, said handle moving said locking member to disengage said second section when in said unlocked position unlocking said first and second sections. 35. The connector of claim 34, wherein said locking member is retained within said body member for sliding movement and rocking movement. 36. The connector of claim 34, wherein said body member and locking member are interconnected with slots and pins. 37. The connector of claim 36, wherein said body member includes first and second slots and said locking member includes first and second bores configured to receive first and second pins. 38. The connector of claim 37, wherein said first slot is straight and said second slot is offset to allow said locking member to slide and pivot with respect to said body member. 39. The connector of claim 38, wherein said locking member includes a first engagement member configured to engage said section and lock said locking member with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 40. The connector of claim 39, wherein said second section includes a second engagement member, said first engagement member engaging said second engagement member to lock said first and second sections together. 41. The connector of claim 38, wherein said locking member slides and pivots with respect to said body member and said second section to engage said first engagement member with said second engagement section to lock said sections together. 42. The connector of claim 34, wherein said locking member includes a driving wedge and at least one adjacent driven wedge, said driving wedge is configured to drive said driven wedge into said second section to lock said first section to said second section. 43. The connector of claim 42, wherein said driving wedge includes a catch for interconnecting said link with said driving wedge. 44. The connector of claim 43 wherein said body member includes at least one slot for receipt of said driven wedge. 45. The connector of claim 44, wherein said second section includes a wall adjacent said at least one slot, said driven wedge being configured to engage said wall. 46. The connector of claim 34, wherein said locking member includes a head portion with a finger, said link engaging said finger to interconnect said handle and said locking member. 47. The connector of claim 34, wherein said locking member includes a protrusion configured to engage said section and lock said locking member with respect to said second section and lock said first and second sections together. 48. The connector of claim 34, wherein said handle is configured to pivot with respect to said body member to move said locking member between said locked and unlocked positions. 49. The connector of claim 34, wherein said straight edge clamp includes a plurality of pairs of sections and a plurality of connectors to connect pairs of sections together. |
