CLAIMS

This invention is related to a shopping and security system provided by security devices mounted on the products in shopping centres and is characterized by the following including a fast shopping and security system which allows an experience without any need to visit the cash register and prevents the security devices from being opened with an external intervention without the knowledge of the authorized personnel;

- introduction and installation of the application (2) into the phone with system start (1 ),

- entrance to the products as sales personnel (4) and attachment of a security device to the product (5),

- matching between the product and security device (7) and placing the product as ready for sale (8),

- introduction and installation of the application for the phones of the users coming for shopping (2) and opening personal accounts (3),

- account defining with approval code and process (6),

- swiping the product code on the product (10),

- after seeing the shopping screen on the phone (9), processing with buy button (13) or return button (13),

- after clicking on the buy button (13), seeing the payment options (14) on the screen,

- approval of the payment (15), receiving such notifications as payment successful (16) or payment failed (17),

- if the payment is successful (16), sending the password of the security device to the phone (18) and opening of the security device automatically,

- Termination of the shopping duty (19) and changing the password of the security device. The method of claim 1 , wherein the shopping and security system is favourable which is characterized in that it comprises the processes;

- in case more than one product is bought during shopping, adding the selected product to the cart (21 ) by clicking on the add to cart button (20),

- seeing the added products on the cart screen (22),

- being able to reach the payment option (14) by clicking on the buy button (13),

- if the payment is successful (16) after the payment approval (15) screen, sending the password of the security device to the phone (18).

A fast shopping and security system according to any of the above-mentioned claims which is characterized in that it comprises the step processes;

- after the opening of the password received via phone (23), obtaining the password approval from the security device (24),

- thanks to sending the signal to open (27), triggering the motor and lock mechanism (26),

- after freeing the lock mechanism (27), removing the security device from the product.

A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 which is characterized in that it comprises;

- an electronic circuit (28) which exchanges information with the system and can lock and unlock the key,

- an energy source (29) which provides the necessary energy,

- a motor (30) which triggers the locking and unlocking,

- lock spring which ensures locking (31 ),

- excitant light item which shows the status of the device (32),

- a micro switch which carries out the triggering procedure (35),

- a security device with an asymmetrical key spring (33) which ensures an external opening with a key.

5. A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 which is characterized in that it comprises;

- a main server which includes the info about the security device and the status of the product,

- and providing security status info about the product with the electronic circuit (28) on the security device via main server.

6. A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 or 4, which is characterized in that;

- opening of the lock spring (31 ) with an external intervention by passing through the asymmetrical key spring (33) which has a special channel on the product with a coupling set up asymmetrically (+) coupled to the motor (30) shaft which works as motorized, allows the security device to be opened with an external key and protected with a reverse voltage diode.

7. A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 or 4 which is characterized in that;

- when spring locking item (34) is attempted to be removed from the product without doing any payment by pushing and/or breaking, micro switch becomes activated (35) and sends a warning message to the shop's security system through electronic circuit (28).

8. A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 or 4 which is characterized in that;

- after the purchase process has been completed, a warning is given with a 3 coloured excitant light item (32) turning led on the security device.

A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 or 4 which is characterized in that it comprises the step processes below; - entering a ciphered code from the smart phone to the security device and processing the sent code in the electronic circuit (28) and sending a signal to open to the geared motor (30),

- operating the geared motor (30) with a diode circuit which is fed by its energy source battery (29) and ensures the reverse voltage protection,

- this signal's reaching from the electronic circuit (28) to mosfet and from the protective reverse current resistance to the geared motor (30),

- turning of the geared motor (30) for a while and its flexing the lock spring (31 ) and getting freed from the lock spring (31 ) with the help of spring locking item (34) on the product to be purchased and the spring locking item (34) of the product linked to the security device(34),

- changing of the password of the security device by the electronic circuit (28). A fast shopping and security system according to Claim 1 which is characterized in that it comprises the processes below;

- the customer's swiping the customer practice product code whose QR code on the security device he/she downloaded to his/her phone (10). The security device has been previously placed on the product by the shop personnel and introduced to the customer application with the bar code of the product,

- the customer application's transferring the bar code info which is defined to the swiped QR code from the server to the mobile phone and the product information shown on the screen (1 1 ) and seen by the customer,

- the customer's continuing his/her shopping process by using buy button (13) and/or add to cart button (20),

- in order for the customer to complete his/her shopping process, the customer has to choose one of the options introduced to the application previously (14) and complete his/her payment process with the approval of the payment (15), when the bank approves the payment process as successful (16), sending the password of the security device to the phone in a ciphered package (18) and sending two passwords,

one of these password's being the current password of the security device and the other password's being the new one,

sending the received password to the security device through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE signal,

opening of the password of the received package by the security device and if the sent password is correct, freeing the locking mechanism automatically (27) with the help of the mechanical system after the password approval (24),

providing information about the security status of the product via the main server which includes the info about the security device and the status of the product via the electronic circuit (28).

Description:
QUICK SHOPPING AND SECURITY SYSTEM

Technical Field

The present invention is related to the exchange and security systems in shops and malls.

The invention is especially related to the quick, secure and easy to use shopping and security system with its control mechanism and its electromechanical nature which allows customers to do their shopping without even waiting in line for cash point and which includes all the necessary security measures.

Description of the State of Art

Current shopping and security systems are only designed for security or shopping purposes. The devices which are designed for security reasons works with a lock system including a spring and a ball which are opened with a model of magnet having high gravitational force.

Another model is an alarm device which has a locking system produced with a band steel string and which can be opened through a special key. Due to their technical features both systems have security loopholes and cannot prevent thefts. When the customer enters a shop with a little strong magnet, he/she can easily deactivate any alarm device with a balled locking system. Moreover, the security devices which have band steel spring locking system can easily be opened with a tool angled properly. Also, such technical problems as uneasiness or fail in being opened can occur in some of these security devices which are opened with a magnet or locking system in safety boxes and these devices may harm the product to which they are mounted. Even though in the devices used to make shopping faster, customers are introduced to making their payment through NFC (Near Field Connection) with the help of an application via mobile phones, this introduction has not changed the traditional register paying system but it only allows payment through mobile phones rather than credit cards. Removing security devices from products are still done in the cash register.

Another practice developed to make shopping faster is beacon devices which are referred to as "i Beacon". These devices send location-based notifications to customers using Bluetooth Low Energy. Customers can make their payments with the help of the notifications they received or by using the codes on the products. However, in this system, customers have to stop by the cash register to have the security device removed.

As a result, the above-mentioned current systems do not include security, quick shopping experience and mobile applications at the same time. There is a need for a device which can provide both security and speed at the same time. A security device is mentioned in American patent application numbered US5426419 and coded G08B, E05B IPC. However, this device cannot overcome said problems and can only be opened through an external help. Because of security loopholes, it leads to serious financial damage in shops. Because of the security loopholes in the shops, serious financial damages can occur. When calculating these damages on an annual basis, the amount of the damage reaches to a much higher level. There is an increasing need for solutions which will allow people to do their shopping in a more secure and faster manner. Description of the Purposes of the Invention

Considering the given status of the method, the aim of the invention is to prevent the problems in current structures and to develop a faster shopping and security system.

Another aim is to make the system give warning through the use of the newly developed system when the device, which is a part of the system, is externally intervened or tried to be opened. Therefore, thefts can be prevented since the potent interventions can be quickly noticed.

Another aim is to prevent huge financial damage arising from stealing shop products thanks to the alarm given when the device couldn't be easily opened or system is intervened. Another is to allow shopping without any need to stop by the register thanks to the new security system.

Another aim is to create a fast and secure shopping system where payment can easily be made without any need to stop by the register. Also, the cost of the wages for cash register personnel can be avoided as well.

Another aim of the invention is to allow the application which is installed once to be valid for all other shopping centres where said practice is used. In order to reach the above-mentioned aims, a fast shopping and security system has been developed to ensure a fast and secure shopping experience without any need to stop by the cash register which can be used in shopping centres and any other shopping place and which allows security devices on the products to be easily removed thanks to a security system integrated into the system. Detailed Description of the Invention

The invention is a fast shopping and security system which is securely developed against any theft and which allows a fast shopping experience in shops or any other shopping centre where products are sold.

As it can be seen in Figure 1 , the operation style of the system is shown in the block diagram. System starts to work with start phase (1 ). The process of introducing and installing the application to the phone (2) is for one-time only. A special entrance for sales personnel are provided on the products (4) and security devices are put on the products (5). Through the matching of the product and security device (7), the product is placed as ready for sale (8).

Customers coming for shopping can open personal accounts (3) after their phones are introduced to the application and it is installed (2). Customers can use the same application for all the other shops where there is this system. Approval code and process (6) and account introduction are made. Swiping the product code on the product (10) is made through phones. Shopping screen is seen on the phone (9). Buy button (13) or return button (12) can be used to transact. Payment option (14) is seen on the screen through the buy button (13). Approval for payment (15) is given. As a result, notifications showing payment failed (17) or payment successful (16) are made. If the payment is successful (16), the password of the security device is sent to the phone by the system (18). After the end of the shopping duty, (19) all the processes are completed in a short time without any need to visit the cash register.

If more than one product is bought during shopping, add to cart button (20) will allow the selected product to be added to the cart (21 ). The added products can be seen on the cart screen (22). Payment option (14) can be seen by clicking the buy button (13). If the payment is successful (16) after the payment approval (15) screen, the password of the security device is sent to the phone (18). After the password received via phone is opened (23), the password approval is taken from the security device (24). After the opening signal (25) is sent, motor and locking mechanisms are triggered (26). After the locking mechanism is freed (27), the purchase of the product is completed following the removing process of the security device from the product.

The security device comprises of electronic circuit (28), energy source (29), motor (30), lock spring (31 ), excitant light item (32), micro switch (35) and asymmetrical key spring (33) which is used to open the manual on the lock spring (31 ) by authorized personnel. Lock item (34) can also be opened externally with the use of a special key. If an external intervention is made to the security device, system gives an alarm after warned by electronic circuit (28). This way, thefts can be prevented since any intervention on the security device which is on the product will lead to warning. On the other hand, locking item (34) is specially designed and is not possible to be opened by another similar key. If it is removed from the product without dismantling with the security device, RF readers in the security system of the shop give an alarm.

If the product is thrown to the trash and taken outside, its whereabouts can be known thanks to the fail in opening security key and thanks to the electronic circuit (28) on it. Therefore, location info can always be known by tracking the security device on the product. All this information is kept via main server and in an unusual event, it can give an alarm or security status info can be reached.

A flexible key spring (31 ) system is used in the security device. This key spring (31 ) can be opened through a redactor-having DC motor (30) coupled to it. If any problem arises in the motor (30) and feeding energy source (29), it is not possible to be opened with an external magnet or a simple key system. There are two options: to do shopping and make the system automatically opened or to open with a specially made "asymmetrical +" model key system.

Also, if this external intervention is not made by an authorized expert or any push or break happens, the electronic circuit on the lock pin (28) or the key system on the micro switch (35) is activated and will send a notification to the shop staff through Bluetooth signal.

This increases the security of the products. Moreover, each device is protected with a specific password. When the customers make their payments, this password is sent to their phone and the device will automatically be opened. Therefore, an external software or electronic intervention to the device will be hard to realize.

The operation of the system is as such:

The customer will swipe the customer application product code (10) whose QR code on the security device he/she downloaded to his/her phone. This security device has been previously mounted on the product by the staff and introduced to the system with the use of the customer application by the product's bar code.

The barcode info which is identified to the QR code which swiped the customer practice is shown to the customer by transferring this barcode info from the server to the mobile phone and by seeing this info on the screen (1 1 ). The customer will continue shopping by using the options buy button (13) or/and add to cart button (20) through his/her mobile device.

In order for the customer to complete his/her shopping, the customer chooses any of the payment options previously introduced to the application (14) and with the payment approval (15) completes the payment. The payment option (14) includes credit card, bank card or online payment options (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.).

After the bank approves the payment process with the notification saying payment successful (16), two passwords are sent to the customer application by sending in a coded package the password of the security device to the phone (18). One of these passwords is the current password of the security device and the other is the new password. The received password is sent through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) signal to the security device. The security device opens the password of the received package and if the received password is correct, thanks to the approval of the password (24) the locking mechanism will automatically be freed (27) with the help of the above-mentioned mechanic system. Thanks to this system, the passwords of all security devices change after each shopping and any possible security loophole will be prevented.

Thanks to the automatically opened locking system, customers will be able to complete their shopping without any need to visit cash register.

The customer has to install the shopping app to his/her smart phone; open the Bluetooth feature in the phone; swipe the QR code on the product he/she chose to buy and by following the purchase processes click on the buy button (13). With this selection, a ciphered code will be sent from his/her phone to the security device. The sent code will be processed in the electronic circuit (28) and send a signal to open to the geared motor (30). The geared motor's (30) energy source is battery and it works with a diode circuit providing inverse voltage protection. This signal reaches to the geared motor via protective inverse current resistance and to Mosfet via electronic circuit (28). The geared motor (30) turns for a while and flexes the lock spring (31 ) and gets freed from the lock spring (31 ) with the use of spring lock item (34) via the selected product and spring lock item (34) connected to the security device. Electronic circuit (28) changes the password of the security device.

When the purchase process has been realized, 3 coloured excitant light unit (32) lights led. If the spring lock item (34) is tried to be removed from the security device without completing the purchase process and by pushing and/or breaking, micro switch will be activated (35) and electronic circuit (28) sends a warning signal to the shop security system. If the product is tried to be taken outside of the shop when connected with the security device, there will be another preventive security system thanks to accustomagnetic or RF bobbin which can be recognized by the security devices in the shop doors.

Our invention cannot be opened with an electromechanically infrastructured software and has a mechanical key called "detacher" and only found in the cash registers during inshop purchases. This key works as motorized and is used to externally open the lock spring (31 ) by passing through the special channel asymmetrical key spring (33) on the product with a coupling set up as asymmetrically (+) coupled to the motor (30) shaft which is protected with a reverse voltage protection diode.

When the opening process is completed, excitant light item (32) turns led. The feeding of the system is provided by 220VAC / 3 Volt DC energy source (29). When the product has been placed on the detacher, it activates the micro switch (35) and starts to work.
