Abstract:
The present application discloses a high-voltage short circuit current limiting device and a control method thereof, and a quick switch module for the high-voltage short circuit current limiting device. The high-voltage short circuit current limiting device comprises at least one quick switch module, at least one current limiting reactor connected in parallel to the at least one quick switch module, at least one quick switch branch current detection device, and at least one total current detection device. Each quick switch module comprises two electromagnetically repulsive quick switches connected in series, two voltage sharing capacitors, one energy storage and control unit, and one isolation power supply transformer. Each current limiting reactor can be connected in parallel to a branch connecting all of the quick switch modules in series, or connected in parallel to one of the quick switch modules, and can also be connected in parallel to one electromagnetically repulsive quick switch. The device quickly suppresses a short circuit current at a high voltage level. The number and wiring technique of the quick switch modules and the current limiting reactors can also be adjusted according to an actual application scenario. The invention has a flexible and controllable current limiting depth, a simple structure, and easily suppresses a high-voltage short circuit current.
