Title:
QUINOLINE AND QUINAZOLINE DERIVATIVES AND DRUGS CONTAINING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2001/047890
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Compounds effective in the treatment of diseases caused via autophosphorylation of PDGF receptor, particularly compounds useful as intimal thickening inhibitor. Specifically, compounds of the general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts or solvates of the same wherein R?1¿ and R?2¿ are each hydrogen, alkyl, or the like; R?3¿, R?4¿, R?5¿ and R?6¿ are each hydrogen, halogeno, alkyl, alkoxy, or the like; R?11¿ and R?12¿ are each hydrogen, alkyl, alkylcarbonyl, or the like; and A is a group represented by any of the general formulae (i) to (x), with the proviso that compounds of the general formula (I) wherein R?3¿, R?4¿, R?5¿ and R?6¿ are each hydrogen and A is a group (v) (wherein u is 0 and R?19¿ is phenyl which may be substituted with halogeno, alkyl, or alkoxy) are excepted.
