Abstract:
This radar device comprises: a beat signal generation unit (3) that receives a reception signal of reception waves obtained when transmission waves of a transmission signal, in which chirps signals having a frequency that changes with the passage of time are repeated, are reflected by an observation object, the reception signal being such that chirps signals are repeated in correspondence with the chirp signals of the transmission signal, and generates a beat signal having a frequency equal to the difference between the respective frequencies of the chirp signals of the transmission signal and the chirp signals of the reception signal in a corresponding relationship; an AD conversion unit (4) that outputs beat data obtained by converting the beat signal generated by the beat signal generation unit (3) into digital data; a distance spectrum calculation unit (51) that calculates a plurality of distance information spectra respectively corresponding to a plurality of items of beat data from the AD conversion unit (4) received during a signal acquisition period; an interference countermeasure assessment unit (52) that derives the respective state values of the plurality of distance information spectra from data in an interference assessment process range in the plurality of distance information spectra calculated by the distance spectrum calculation unit (51), assesses whether an interference countermeasure is necessary by using the derived respective state values of the distance information spectra, and outputs an interference countermeasure signal for the chirp signals in the transmission signal if an interference countermeasure is necessary; and a distance/speed information output unit (53) that, when the interference countermeasure assessment unit (52) assesses that an interference countermeasure is not necessary, calculates the distance to the observation object and a relative speed with respect to the observation object from data in a detection object frequency range in the plurality of distance information spectra calculated by the distance spectrum calculation unit (51), and outputs the distance to the observation object and the relative speed with respect to the observation object.
