Abstract:
The present invention prevents the false detection of a ghost. This radar comprises: a transmission circuit that transmits a radar signal; a main reflector detection circuit that detects a main reflector in a detection area using a reflected wave of the radar signal; an in-area determination circuit that determines a main area in the detection area where the ghost arises due to reflectors and the main reflector outside the detection area; and an auxiliary reflector detection circuit that detects, using a reception signal of the reflected wave of the radar signal, the position of an auxiliary reflector that is farther than the main reflector and that is on an extension line of a straight line connecting the radar device and the main reflector in the main area.
