Abstract:
A radar system according to the present invention is provided with: a transmission antennae (101); a reception antennae (103) comprising at least three reception antennae elements (103a) (103b) (103c); a reception unit (104) that produces at least three first reception signals by demodulating a plurality of reflected waves received by the respective reception antennae elements; a pre-filter unit (105) that estimates a plurality of main arrival directions, which are the directions of a plurality of targets, using at least three first reception signals; a direction cancelling unit (106) that produces at least two first extraction signals by using at least three first reception signals and forming nulls in arrival angles to be removed, except for arrival angles to be extracted, from amongst the plurality of main arrival angles; and an image production unit (107) that uses at least two first extraction signals to analyze Doppler frequency components around the arrival angles to be extracted and calculate the scattering point arrival angles, which are the arrival angles for each analyzed Doppler frequency component.
