Abstract:
Provided is a radially anisotropic sintered ring magnet manufacturing method by which a radially anisotropic sintered ring magnet is manufactured by sintering a final molded body in which a plurality of molded bodies are connected and integrated, such final molded body being formed by consecutively repeating multiple times, in one mold, the following steps: a step for supplying magnetic powder to a mold which comprises a core made of a columnar magnetic body and which comprises a cylindrical outer die that includes a magnetic body part and a non-magnetic body part which are disposed so as to be continuous in the axial direction, and that forms a cavity with the core; and a step for compression molding the magnetic powder while generating a radial-direction magnetic field between the core made of the magnetic body and the magnetic main body of the outer die. The radially anisotropic sintered ring magnet manufacturing method is characterized by including a step in which a magnetic field is imparted in a state where the upper end of the magnetic body part of the cylindrical outer die is further above the upper surface of the magnetic powder which was supplied.
