Description:

DESCRIPTION

RADIANT ELECTRIC HEATER COMPRISING TWO OR MORE HEATING WIRES

Field of Invention

This invention is related to a heater with quartz glass tube which increases the resistance of the heating and heat transfer surface against high temperatures by means of the heating wire that is comprised by winding at least two wires having the same or different form around each other; and the expected life of the heating wire.

Prior Art

In the known technique, the heating wires used in the heaters and the cookers are comprised by a single wire or two wires having flat form wound over each other. The single wires used to be wound in spiral, triangle, quadrangle, eliptic or other different geometric shapes.

In the known technique, UK Patent Application No. GB2074828 discloses an electrical heater having a heating wire which consists of a single wire wound in eliptical shape with an enlarging and shrinking structure. However, when the wires are heated above a certain diameter in the wires of the heater with single wire, wound wires expand and bend over each other; and when the wires contact with each other, short circuit occurs. Malfunctions are encountered as a result of the deactivation of the winding in the short circuit area or the entire windings.

In order to prevent malfunctions, it is also possible to wind the wires by reducing the wire winding diameter; however; in this case heat transmission surface shrinks; requested thermal efficiency is not achieved; and the energy is not used effectively enough.

European Patent Application No. EP 1609336 in the known technique describes a heater with low cost that is comprised by heating wires which are bent over each other; and yields high thermal capacity with less number of wires. Heating wires, in the said heater, have flat form and twisted around each other

US Patent Application No. US5296685A1 in the prior art reveals a heating member that is formed by the winding of at least two wires around each other. Twisted wires are preferably wound helically and installed within the quartz tube.

On the other hand, in the known embodiments of the invention, each of wire has a horizontal form among the heating wires which are formed by winding double wires over each other; and they do not achieve sufficiently large thermal surface and efficient thermal productivity when they are wound over each other.

Brief Explanation of Invention

The objective of this invention is to provide a heater with a quartz glass tube which provides high heat efficiency and improve the thermal transmission surface which includes heating wire that strengthens resistance by winding at least two wires around each other which twisted in different form and again winding around these twisted wires with spiral form or in different geometric shapes.

Another objective of this invention is to provide a heater whose thermal surface is increased by winding twisted double wires around again each other or around different wire groups.

Yet another objective of this invention is to produce a heater with quartz glass tube wherein the resistance and life expectance of the heating wire is maximized against high temperature.

Detailed Explanation of Invention

The figures prepared for explanation of the electrical heater developed in the present invention in a better way are presented as annexed hereto. The description of the figures is given as follows

Figure 1 - Front schematic view of the heater that is the subject of the invention,

Figure 2, 3, 4- Schematic view of the preferred different embodiments that belongs to the different forms of the wires

Figure 5, 6- Sschematic view of the preferred different embodiments of the wires which are wound over each other

Figure 7- Schematic view of the preferred different embodiments of the heating wire.

The parts presented in the figures prepared for explanation of the heater developed in the present invention in a better way are numbered separately. Definition of the parts corresponding to the respective numbers is given as follows:

1. Heater

2.Wire

3. Heating wire

4.Tube

The said heater (1) includes at least one quarzt glass tube (4) that is installed in the heating wire (3) and allows to spread the heat; and includes at least one heating wire (3) which is composed by winding at least two wires having different geometric forms around each other with different shape and winding this twisted group around another group, which is twisted with different or same shape, or only winding twisted group around itself by making its own different geometric shape.

In the said heater (1), different forms are given for each wire (2) and after winding at least two wires (2) around each other, which have same or diferent forms, heating wire (3) is composed by winding in the form of spiral or different geometric shape. Later on, heating wire (3) , which is wound with different form, is installed in a quartz tube (4).

In the said heater (1), the section of the wires (2) to which diferent forms are given, can be circular; and used in the wires (2) having different geometric section (such as triangle, rectangle, square) in the preferred embodiments of the invention.

In a preferred embodiment of the heater (1) "S" shape (wavy) is given to the wires (2) (Figure 2) and at least two wires of the "S" shaped wires (2) form the heating wire (3) by

winding around each other without deforming the shape (Figure 5). The last form is given to the heating wire (3) by winding again with preferably spiral, eliptic or other geometric shape.

In another preferred embodiment of the heater (1) "V" shape (zigzag) is given to the wires (2) (Figure 3) and at least two wires of the "V" shaped wires (2) form the heating wire (3) by combining on each other without deforming the shape (Figure 6). The last form is given to the heating wire (3) by winding with preferably spiral, eliptic or other geometric shape.

In another preferred embodiment of the heater (1) "U" shape is given to the wires (2) (Figure 4). At least two wires of the "U" shaped wires (2) form the heating wire (3) by combining with each other and the last form is given to the heating wire (3) by winding with preferably spiral, eliptic or other geometric shape.

In another preferred embodiment of the heater (1), different geometric shapes are also given to the wires except for the shapes of "S", "U", and "V".

hi another preferred embodiment of the heater (1), heating wire (2) is constituted after winding horizontal or shaped two wires around each other that have same or different form, winding again around groups or at least double wires group which twisted each other in different shape (Fig.7). Temperature of the heating wire is controlled by composing the said wire in the requested number of groups. When the number of the encircled wires increases, the surface of the heat transmission and its surface temperature increase.

In the said heater (1), by winding together the wires that have different shapes (2,20) and winding wire groups with another wire group or groups the heating wire is composed and surface of the heating wire (3) rises and high heat efficiency improves and fast heat transmission is provided. Moreover, heating wire (3) is composed by joining at least two wires (2) having different forms and thus, high resistance is given to the heater in the high temperature, in this way, bending towards each other is prevented and usage life is maximized.

In the framework of the above mentioned main principles, it is possible to improve various embodiments. The said heater (1) can not be limited with the above examples which are given in the explanation of the invention. The invention is mainly according to the following claims.
