Abstract:
The present invention suppresses radiation deterioration of a soft vinyl chloride resin composition when the absorbed dose of γ rays is on the order of megagrays. Flexible hoses and flexible tubes, the deterioration of which by radiation is suppressed, are provided using said resin composition. This radiation-resistant vinyl chloride resin composition contains 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer, and 5-50 parts by weight of carbon black or graphite powder, and has a Durometer A hardness of50-95 HDA before γ-ray irradiation.
