Abstract:
A radiation shielding material is characterized by comprising a main body part that comprises a base material constituting a three-dimensional net-like backbone and has interconnected pores and a metal that has a radiation shielding ability, and by having moisture permeability through the interconnected pores, also characterized in that the base material comprises fibers, a foam material, a porous material or a spongy material, also characterized in that a metal coating film is formed so as to cover the surface of the base material in the main body part, and also characterized in that the moisture permeability as measured by JIS L 1099 A-2 method (water method) (temperature: 20℃, humidity: 65%RH) is 1 g/m2・h or more.
