Title:
RADIO BASE STATION, USER TERMINAL, AND FADING FREQUENCY ESTIMATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/087773
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is able to provide a fading frequency estimation method capable of improving mobility of user terminals in a HetNet. This fading frequency estimation method comprises: a step wherein at a radio base station, a mapping format in which reference signals used for estimating a fading frequency at a user terminal within a cell are arranged at a relatively high density is used in at least some of the radio resources allocated to a downlink shared channel to map the reference signals; a step wherein information about the allocation of radio resources for the downlink shared channel is transmitted to the user terminal; a step wherein a fading frequency is estimated at the user terminal on the basis of channel estimation values of the reference signals; and a step wherein the estimated fading frequency is transmitted to the radio base station in response to a transmission request from the radio base station.
