Abstract:
A radio clock (1), provided with: an exterior case (2); a dial plate (4) disposed in the exterior case; a substrate (7) disposed in the exterior case, on the reverse surface side of the dial plate; a first ground layer (71) disposed on the substrate; an antenna (9) having a flat surface-shaped radiation electrode (91) disposed between the center of the exterior case and an inner wall surface (21a) of the exterior case, the radiation electrode (91) facing the first ground layer, a flat surface-shaped short-circuit part (92) for electrically connecting an end part of the radiation electrode and the first ground layer, and a connection part (93) connecting the radiation electrode and a reception circuit of the substrate; and a second ground layer (72) disposed on the substrate, on the opposite side from the radiation electrode side across the short-circuit part, the second ground layer having a width equal to or greater than that of the short-circuit part.
