Abstract:
In multi-carrier operation, bits relating to encoded data are prevented from being biased to a specific carrier, and a frequency diversity effect is improved. A data segmentation unit (116) performs segmentation of a modulation symbol column, and a segment mapping unit (120) maps segmented modulation symbol blocks into a plurality of carriers. The data segmentation unit (116) performs grouping into N-groups each having the same number, with respect to each of K-pieces of parts of the modulation symbol column; performs a cyclic shift with respect to N-groups of each part in any of (K-1) portions, using a shift amount which is different among the parts; and performs segmentation into a plurality of blocks by replacing groups among parts, with respect to the cycle shifted groups of the modulation symbol column having the plurality of parts.
