The present application relates to a radio frequency system and a communication device. The radio frequency system comprises: a radio-frequency transceiver (10), a radio-frequency transceiving module (20), a radio-frequency receiving module (30) and a first filtering module, wherein the radio-frequency transceiving module (20) is used for supporting transmission and primary reception of low-frequency signals, and supporting MIMO reception of the low-frequency signals; and the radio-frequency receiving module (30) is used for supporting diversity reception of the low-frequency signals, and supporting MIMO reception of the low-frequency signals. Thus, by means of the radio frequency system, 4*4 MIMO reception of low-frequency signals can be supported, and the throughput for the low-frequency signals can be multiplied without increasing frequency spectrum resources and antenna transmission power; when the radio frequency system is applied to a communication device, a download rate can be increased, thereby improving the user experience; moreover, when the communication device is located in environments with weak signal reception such as the boundary of a cell, deep within a building, or in an elevator, a higher diversity gain and a wider coverage range are achieved by means of 4*4 MIMO reception, thereby achieving better reception performance.
