Abstract:
The present disclosure belongs to the field of communications. Provided are a radio resource control (RRC) state switching method and apparatus, a user equipment, a base station and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving RRC state indication information sent by a base station, wherein the RRC state indication information comprises a target RRC state and/or a service start moment of the next service of a satellite for a UE; and switching to the target RRC state on the basis of the RRC state indication information. By means of the method provided in the present disclosure, during satellite communication, a UE is effectively prevented from performing invalid operations when there is no satellite providing services, thereby reducing the power consumption.
