Abstract:
The present invention is a slave station (5) that forms a radio mesh network with a master station serving as a data collection device for collecting meter reading data, and is provided with: an adjacency table (94) which manages the quality of communication with another adjacent slave station (5) and the number of hops from the other adjacent slave station (5) to each master station; and a radio communication control unit (87) which, when receiving a request to transmit the meter reading data, determines the size of the meter reading data to be transmitted on the basis of information managed by the adjacency table (94) or the actual results of communication with a master station that is a transmission destination of the meter reading data, and according to the result of the determination, divides the meter reading data and transmits the divided meter reading data separately multiple times or transmits the meter reading data without dividing the meter reading data.
