Abstract:
The radio wave-transmissive cover (10) is provided with a transparent member (20) and a base material (40). The transparent member (20) has a recesse (22) at an end part (21) thereof and allows radio waves or light to transmit therethrough. The base material (40) has protrusions (42) at end parts (46) thereof and is thereby joined to the transparent member (20). In addition, two points arbitrarily set on an outer edge of a first inclined section (23) or a second inclined section (24) formed on the transparent member (20) are defined as a first point (28) and a second point (29). An angle formed by a first imaginary line (I1) connecting the recess with the first point and a second imaginary line (I2) extending in the front-back direction of a vehicle (1) is defined as α. An angle formed by a third imaginary line (I3) extending in the top-bottom direction of the vehicle (1) and the second inclined section (24) or a tangent line (T) at the second point (29) is defined as β. A critical angle of the transparent member (20) is defined as θc. The end part of the transparent member (20) is formed so as to satisfy a relational expression using α, β, and θc.
