Abstract:
Provided are a radioactive cesium-adsorbing fiber capable of efficiently adsorbing and recovering radioactive cesium dissolved in water, and a manufacturing method for same. Radioactive cesium-adsorbing fibers are obtained using a solution preparation process for preparing a polymer solution in which a polymer material is dissolved and zeolite is dispersed, and a fiber molding process for extruding the polymer solution prepared in the solution preparation process into water to mold same into fiber form. Alternatively, the radioactive cesium-adsorbing fibers are obtained using a solution preparation process for preparing a polymer solution in which a polymer material and Prussian blue are dissolved and zeolite is dispersed, and a fiber molding process for extruding the polymer solution prepared in the solution preparation process into water to mold same into fiber form.
