Abstract:
Guide rails for guiding a cage and a counterweight, respectively, are installed in an elevator shaft by means of a rail fixing device. A part of the elevator shaft is constituted of a first inner wall face, and a second inner wall face perpendicular to the first inner wall face. The rail fixing device comprises first and second wall fixing parts being fixed to the first and second inner wall faces, respectively, and a guide rail fixing part provided at at least one of the first and second wall fixing parts. The first wall fixing part, the second wall fixing part and the guide rail fixing part are constituted integrally.
