Abstract:
Provided is a railroad car air conditioner that is of a rooftop-installation type and that includes, between a lower plate and an upper-surface cover which is curved so as to protrude upwardly, an ultraviolet projecting device and a heat exchanger though which at least interior air passes, wherein: an air suction surface of the heat exchanger is disposed so as to be irradiated with ultraviolet rays generated by the ultraviolet projecting device; and a member that does not pass the ultraviolet rays is disposed on a straight line connecting the ultraviolet projecting device and a car-interior space.
