Abstract:
The railroad car suspension apparatus according to the present invention comprises a car body 1 and a truck 16 provided with a pneumatic spring 8 for elastically supporting the car body 1. The direction of a line along which the rigidity of the pneumatic spring 8 in the horizontal plane direction is greatest has a relative angle with respect to a truck centerline extending in the left-right direction of the truck 16, thereby enabling lateral pressure to be reduced via a simple configuration without the use of a switching mechanism such as an actuator.
